Dead motorcycle battery Sealed what to do?
I have a yamaha YZF600RC, and says I have a "Sealed MF" battery. The battery is dead and start my custom bike. I want to know what my options are, you can buy these batteries to replace from a local store, I buy the charger correct battery to charge. The battery is about 2 years, has been in storage for about 4 months, I removed the battery and today I am taking to get a new one .. sadness of my local dealer, a substitute 89.95 update on what's going wrong, I'm hoping it's not a bad relay
I do not know is the old battery. If one year or older, a shipper can bring back to life. If less, the more likely it will work. You can go to an auto parts store and earn a little charger good very reasonable. All cyclists should have one anyway. Small electronically controlled chargers can be left connected, to act like a thread after the charger from the battery is full. If the battery is dead, ie not load, now has a good charger, you can afford itself in future batteries stored. Get the numbers out of the battery on the bike, and go to a bike shop and get the exact battery, do not try one "of the same size" as someone said, often different types of battery will be "the same size." When you get the new battery, it put in new battery charger before installation, to get a full charge. New batteries are rarely full charge if you buy off the shelf. Have a Great Ride! Tomcotexas.

It has unusual features with a cruiser style 1670 cc Vtwin motor but sportbike or naked bike style frame and suspension. The engine is derived from the Yamaha Warrior (XV1700) and modified to suit application in the MT01, while the forks and brakes are derived from the 20042005 Yamaha R1.
