Slip-On Motorcycle Exhaust Question?
I bought this 2nd hand slip Scorpion Titanium exhaust. The seller said it is for models 01/05 GSXR. He can not confirm if it is for the 600, 750, 1000. It has four threaded screws. My question is if back pressure for a shift to different escape a 600, 750, and 1000? Will have an impact on the overall performance if I installed a slip-on that fits 600, but is suitable for a 1000? I have a 01 GSXR 600 and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy in this case if it was for a 1000. The seller said there was no evidence of a model # or serial # in the exhaust.
Hello, In short, unless track racing and engine rebuilding of all races, the exact right silent will not make much difference, if physics can slip on fit, then it should be well. Scorpion Titanium has a very nice melody. Just make sure that it has "not for road use" stamped on it. The bright side Danny
