Saddlebags are most commonly used to carry luggage on a motorcycle. There are 2 main types of motorcycle saddlebags. Throw over saddlebags and hard mount saddlebags. The concept of hard mount saddlebags originated in throw over saddlebags which were used in early 1950 for the first time.
As the industry motorcycle boomed in 1960, especially after the Vietnam War of the motorcycle luggage also evolved. This also keeps the engine much time and headaches.
Despite the popularity of the factory installed motorcycle saddlebags still prefer leather bags in most cases. This is due to the fact that leather saddlebags motorcycles can be customized to a greater extent compared with the motorcycle bags specific fiberglass.
Most motorcycles used first companies saddlebag nails, stains and shells to decorate the saddlebags. Recently, the most advanced motorcycle saddlebag companies have begun manufacturing and offer not only motorcycle saddlebags, but also match the color of the motorcycle. Another approach is design leather saddle bags motorcycle so that it mixes with the overall design of the motorcycle. These advances have resulted in more and more people willing to install saddlebags on motorcycles.
