Insurance Agents: I bought a stolen motorcycle … help!?
I bought a Harley from a guy over a year, and recorded Tag 2 years in a row. Now the FBI has done a sting and took my bike saying it is a stolen vehicle. I am a victim of this situation and was told by Police State and FBI. They said my ins. co. (State Farm) can cover this. I contacted them and told me that under my policy of vehicles seized by the government are not covered. I could understand this if I had done something illegal, like selling drugs and seized it, but I'm an innocent victim. My insurance company is prepared to investigate further, is there any clause that you know the keywords I use to help my situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
OK if your insurance company is not for you Thurs sounds like your out of luck. maybe a lawyer could be of some help, but then again you could obtain twice.
