The first Vespa was manufactured in 1946 and within a decade, or what was exported to other European countries.
The legendary businessman Fernando Inocennti then followed suit. The state of the country devastated after the Second War 2, led him to create a two-wheeled vehicle that could provide the necessary protection from the weather as opposed to a motorcycle and maneuvering of the Iraq war from the streets of Italy. This led to the creation of the Lambretta, highly fuel efficient scooter.
The Japanese started the "twist-the-throttle-and-go. In the mid-'80s, Japanese scooters came with it had fresh and modern lines, not at all Italian models. Honda Elite scooter with her, and Yamaha, with its model of Riva, jumped into the scooter market. The Italians saw as cheap plastic copies, but consumers love Aero.
